A grad student in the sciences would recieve a stipend that would cover tuition plus extra (unless ivy league or out of state). Its not a lot by any means but as someone tbat lived off of stipend amount while paying tuition, with 2 extra part time jobs and additional scholarship money hed be more than fine. So this money situation makes no sense.

Lots of world building that throws you in. Right now I'm barely above water and we'll see how it goes in the long run.

Ugh if this is going to go down the path I think it will this will be a long and frustrating book.

This sudden change in Andi's gift is giving Jonathan Bayne vibes....and while I love that series it, colours were never a thing in this series before but now are and it's confusing
