It was a little bit slow at the beginning but it’s been wonderful to see the story develop and the characters evolve. Lawrence exhibits a writing style that is different yet exquisite. I liked the fact that this book was clean, no spice or nsfw content and would definitely be appropriate for middle school readers minus the cuss words. Can’t wait to read the second and third books!
