clarion and milori are meeting for the first time, and it has me so giggling and smiling, and then I remember how the book is gonna end, and now im sad and straight faced 😭

clarion seems so alone, and it's making me sad.

I gotta say I really think this would've been a better audiobook since most of the narration (so far) happens within the bounds of a conversation. I didnt have any credits though so im just reading it lol

"i didn't mean to be cruel" I rather think you did actually, he made one mistake, and you completely shut him down. like I understand the cultural difference and privilege difference, but he didn't do it intentionally- its clear that he didn't understand wholly... and you didn't give him a moment to explain. It's no wonder the situation upset him so much 😭😭
