this book is a phenomenal extension of the original story!!!

im loving that we finally get the opportunity to explore rapunzel's trauma, i mean, hello, she's been through so much, and because the movie ends right after she goes back to the palace there wasn't really any time to actually explore it within the movie. now we're seeing her insecurities and her thoughts and the fact that she's having nightmares about mother gothel!!!
