Also I kinda don't like how the characters r being written, idk maybe it's just me but I don't remember Sophie being *this* extra and flamboyant, and Nicola's whole *falling for Hort knEES arE JeLLy* thing felt unnatural, tropey and weird. Ghhh, kids book, kids book. Begone classic literature.

ALSO, I keep forgetting Hort has black hair and brown eyes. Like I thought he had dark ginger/auburn hair and a ratty face all this time, lol... Either way, this romance thing is a big HM mood at the moment. Kind of have to agree with Sophie's whole monologue about professor/student relationship: Soman watrusuggestingtouraudience??? Getting into really pretty little liars Aria and Ezra type territory.

Not sure how to feel about Hort and Nicola... Like, isn't Nicola 12/13 or something?? Also there was a confusing line somewhere earlier in the chapter where it was like 'Nicola is around Agatha's age' when she's a first year... Am I missing something? I haven't read the series in years but I swear first years are like 12 and fourth years are at least 16. Soman, this is some confusing bullshit.
