This is fascinating. I knew nothing of the Profumo scandal before (love the name). I'm so tired of political corruption in America so I'm searching out other countries'.

I Just Want This Book To End. To preserve my sanity I skimmed through the action at the barricades and I completely skipped the sewers of Paris. The last meeting for discussion with my reading group is at the end of October, and it can't come soon enough.

This book is delightful. I'm enjoying getting to know the main characters, but Miss Trant is my favorite so far. Much merriment ensues.
