It’s really growing on me now it’s all coming together 🩷

I don’t know if this story touches me the same as the deverill books.. I do like the characters in the present time but the whole history timeline isn’t as interesting in my opinion

This is my second Santa novel and once again, she has me hooked. Heart stirred, suitcase packed (in my imagination, sadly), and utterly invested. More, please. 🍷🌸📚
Santa Montefiore writes straight into my heart. Three generations of women, richly drawn characters, and a quiet heroine you just want to hug. Tuscany is a dream, but Devon stole my heart too.

This book is really growing on me the further I read. It started very complex and there are getting characters added to the story wich makes it complicated. Nevertheless I can just feel its going to make sense in the end

Starting to grow on me!

Finding it quite hard to get into the story. A bit complex with all these different characters

Am taking a bit longer. Don’t know if it’s because I’m busy or it’s just not the escapism i usually like to read. It is all a bit the same tbh, Charlie and Nora circling around each other. It is beautifully written! Such a relatable way of describing feelings of wanting to be in control

It zips along — perhaps a little too predictably — but what keeps me hooked is her. Our heroine is sharp, yes, but underneath? She’s all feeling and fierce loyalty. That tight grip on life — the need to manage, plan, pre-empt — feels alarmingly familiar (note to self: unpack that later). I expected a stereotype, got someone startlingly human instead. Plot aside, I see her. And oddly enough, I see myself too

The first part was a very good start!

This story takes quite long and im not sure what the point is in being such a thick book

Stopped reading it and picked it up again today on page 275

Very unsuspecting plottwist but still not a clue who did it!!

Alright so the more I keep reading the more interesting it gets!

The longer I’m reading this book ghe better it seems to get. I am on page 134 and the really murder solving hasn’t started yet!

Am listening to this on good reads but there isn’t really a story in this book, still quite enjoyable but very hectic

Honestly it’s not a very easy book to get in… maybe i started reading this book in a time where i already was very tired. But I can’t really seem to get the flow

Loving this book. Really like the main character, Margot and love how the surroundings and landscapes are described

Just started the book and I’m really impressed. Love the dreamy descriptions about the castle and landscapes and also the strong family connection.

In the end of the book it’s getting more and more interesting!

This books reads very easy and light! The characters don’t have a lot of depth imo. A nice read anyway and enjoy reading it

Very funny and relatable!

Very funny, not a very “deep” story but very entertaining and ever so funny

Picked it up again after a long time and enjoyed it straight away. Think I’ll finish it now
