Oddly this is reminding me of "Fun Home"

The pop culture references are not doing it for me

Yes the thoughts on suicide are crazy but im wondering how his opinions would have differed in today's world...

I feel like this is what Mitch Albom was trying to do with "the Five people you meet in heaven" but because this is real it lands so much more

I just dont have a lot of sympathy for this character and her restaurant woes

I swear this one character is evil just you wait

And to think this was just a trashy book.... I love that the main character is connecting with people over such human things, despite her best efforts

Im a little worried that this prose is addictive. There's a monologue somewhere around 45% that I dont think ill be able to stop thinking about tonight, but I need sleep....im torn
