In The Zone complete.
I don't know what to say other than there were so many times during this part I thought "that might be the best chapter of fiction I've ever read." Highlights include: the Erdschweinhöhle, Tchitcherine's backstory, Franz Pökler's story, Greta Erdmann at the Castle, the rescue at Peenemünde, Enzian's musings on the Real Text, and Lyle Bland and the Masons. I'll be so sad when this is all over

This is not another Part complete update (In The Zone is so long it's going to take me a lot longer than one week to finish it). I'm just celebrating that I'm one page past the halfway point of this book. Who knows how things are going to go in the remaining half; they're not looking too pretty right now for Rocketman.

There are so many great things I want to say about this part, but They and Their emissaries have Their eyes on me and have been restricting me with Their character limit. We all know what the Proverbialist Paranoid would say: "Sure. In that America, it's the first thing they tell you. Goodreads's there for other reasons. The 'reviewing' part of it is just sort of a front."
