I really love most of jm's work. What I really hate in a book is when the character talks to me. It's like the author doesn't have enough faith in their writing to just let the words let me know how the character feels. Ive always known writing to be being able to take the reader to the place they are writing about. But I am finding it very hard to read this book because of the characters feedback. It's distracting

One of my pet peeves in a story is timeline. It drives me insane when an author tells us what time it is in the story and then a page or two later the time changes.

Isn't college closed during the holiday weekends? And wouldn't they have discussed birth control when looking at each other's physical exam results?

DNF. No connection to characters. Numerous repeats of feelings and thoughts. To much telling. And very slow paced

I don't get it...I am trying so hard to like Bethany but she is a wimp. and have! are you kidding. hes supposed to be big bad and brooding, he is anything but that. hes a pussy! gabe was 10 times the man jace is. I will try to get through this book, but I just don't know if I can
