The Bodyguard, by Katherine Center was a DNF at page 18.

Stinks, because I really liked the story line.

Powerless should NOT for ages 14+. I am tired of authors doing this. The book is amazing so far. Marketing it to KIDS, is awful. 18+ is what I would say.

LET ME TELL YOU.

I am both hooked and annoyed. On one hand, I am on the edge of my seat wondering what comes next. On the other.. I want to DNF because I loathe trying to read more than 2, MAYBE 3, perspectives.. I will be continuing, of course, but I'm annoyed, too. ✌🏻

Bub is 6.5 months old and loves books!! -- I have not had much time to read. That said, i'll be doing re reads mainly. This way I know the story and what to expect. *hunts audiobooks*

I'm not normally one for books that are so new, but this has made me laugh a few times. I could do without some of the language. I'm hoping it stays clean, because I'm nearing a scene that's a topic of conversation.

I'm 41% through this cozy mystery and well.. I'd be an awful detective. I'm liking it though!
