I really wish the audiobook didn't have a different narrator for every section. Their differences in volume, pacing, and use of pause are driving me crazy. 😓 I have had to jump from 1.5 to 2.3 speed throughout, and the one I'm currently on is impossible to get into because of fast talking combined with too long pauses with every comma and period.

I just can't get into this. I'm listening to the audiobook, but I can't keep my attention on it and actually don't have any idea what's going on. I even re-listened the first 2 chapters 4 times because I kept zoning out and from there I just let go..

Is it just the audiobook? I also own the hardcover, so might give that a (re-)read some time if it's worth it.

Somehow this book popped up on my NetGalley dashboard. I have no recollection of requesting it and thus have no idea how long it's been. The description sounds good though, so I thought I'd give it a read right away. So far, I'm not blown away, but still interested enough to read on.

I'm still having trouble picturing this world, but I'm enjoying it so far. I really like all the musical references too. Gimme Shelter is quite possibly my favourite Stones song, so.. :)

O-kaaaay. And with thát, I am done reading for tonight.

I'm getting a bit bored. Feels repetitive and find myself kind of skimming and not paying attention anymore..

Well, that was sudden. Hadn't noticed I only had so few pages left..

I was so on track with tackling my TBR-pile, having read 3 books in 2 days, and then Illumicrate brought me 2 new books today.. xD

I feel so guilty to DNF a book - especially a review copy - but I just can't..
