I am literally so sad that I have to put this down for a bit. I just can’t get into all these side plot storylines and I don’t care about everyone coupling up. I thought we got through all that in the Demon Tide so to start this book in the exact same position we ended makes me 😵‍💫🫠

LOL’d at “that (holiday) with the presents and the home invasion”

This has taken me awhile to get through, but man did the beginning potential completely crack halfway through the book.

I like the book but the narrators are not my favorites. I'm not a fan of Lo's voice actor, and I can hear Bea's voice actor swallowing a lot and it's driving me crazy. I'm so shocked because Sadie's audiobook narration was immaculate. I know it's a me thing, but it's hard to enjoy when you constantly pick up those little things.

This is a like a trainwreck - I want to just leave it but I've gone this far and I can't look away.

This might become my favorite book of the year.

I have so many thoughts. Many mixed feelings.

What am I getting myself into?

The writing seems a bit... pretentious? Or maybe I'm just missing the point of these stories.

My goal is to read this big book of Frost poems throughout 2019! I should finish it before the end of the year ;)

I don’t hate this book. But this one thing...The author, IN MORE THAN ONE PLACE, states how DIAMOND walls can withstand A BOMB. Wut. Do you know how science works? Have you not watched ASOUE - Aunt Josephine is terrified of the glass doorknobs getting overheated and exploding in her eye. /facepalm

Almost done, it's so good!

So far, a little boring in my opinion. But I'm thinking it might pick up soon! Let's hope!

Loving this story so far! I put it off for so long - why did I do that?

Struggling with this book. Tried reading the physical book, listening to the audiobook. I'm just not sure if I'm feeling it right now.

I'm on the struggle bus. I find this story so much more enticing than Star-Touched Queen (which I didn't like, btw), but I'm not sure if I feel like continuing this story right now.

So, I'm about halfway through the book. Nothing is happening. I'm bored to tears. How are people giving this 5 star ratings?

Why is every chapter like 30 pages long!?

What is it about 2000 YA that every female main character isn’t the prettiest or coolest, and yet still needs to put down other girls? I know that high school is like this but must it be written? Point in reference: “the sort of girls Clary had never liked at St. Xavier’s, sporting pink jelly miles and fake tans.” Yes, I get it Clary - you’re not a stuck up prep. /sigh Otherwise, enjoying the book so far lol
