My habit of reading anything that I grabbed out of a free little library is turning into masochism.

don't know why this podcast is on goodreads but i've had it on my audible for months to listen so it's counting as a book

Good in small doses. When reading a dozen pieces or so in a single sitting you start to understand Kharms internal logic and tendencies so it gets repetitive.

No one has more fun or energy writing a book than Alfred Bester.

in the home stretch. robert moses lost power finally and it actually made me kinda sad even tho he's a big jerk.

I don't really know how far I'm into this but I've logged about 10 hours of audio time so i'm not letting it just sit here

Progressing slower than I would like. Moses just got his first real government power so I'm very excited to burn through this.

Let's see if I can best this monster of nonfiction.

The juxtaposition of wholesomeness in the character's words with the darkness of their actions really makes this book pop.

Absurdist dialogue gets tiresome after 100 pages.

Two plays in. Some good jokes in here, but like my experience reading Beckett it can be very taxing to read. Seeing absurdist plays on stage should be a goal of mine in the future.
