Sammy Jo is still being obnoxious

Sammy Jo is really obnoxious. I’m kind of glad I read her book first because I wouldn’t try it now.

"Life happens, Cait. Burglars steal. Husbands abuse. It's time to even the score. So be a fucking woman for once in your life and bury a fucking body, won't you?"

I saw some of this coming, but it still makes me angry.

Emily claps again. “It’s so amazing we can do this together. Like we’ve always dreamed.” She puts a hand to her chest. “And you, Max,” she adds almost tearfully. Of course, she’s referring to my transition. I force a smile, concerned that inducting me into this ceremony is her attempt at allyship. If this is trans rights, I will do some trans wrongs.

Ugh. I’m tempted to DNF. One of the heroines just slut shamed another woman.
