I just watched a writers webinar and their publication journeys. One that stood out (due in July) was one based on a real story, which is shocking and creepy. It will only come out as Hardback to begin with, so it's pricey, but it should be a great read. If you like Lee Child et al, this should be right up your street.

Intriguing but a slow burner

I like the usage of Nigerian Pidgin English, but the storyline is odd. I can take the premise 'Alien discovered in Lagos waters' but the way in which the characters behave is hard to swallow. I'll struggle on...

The battle scenes are epic!

A few surprising twists, and I'm eager to see how the story unfolds.

Grittier than the first book. It's the building of the dream team. Enjoying this immensely.

First-person present tense is an interesting choice. I hope the reason for it becomes clear at the end. I have my suspicions of how this should be read for that voice to have real context. We shall see!
