This is soooo good. I am trying not to read too fast, make it last. 🥹

I love love loved Poppy and Hawk/Cas, and I keep searching for that vibe again in a book…here’s hoping this one delivers!

This is cute but for some reason, I just want to get it finished. It’s been on my tbr for a while, but now I’m not sure why…

I’m going into this book completely blind, I haven’t read about it or perused reviews to get info…I hope it’s good and it delivers me for a bit. 🤞🤞🤞🤞 Either way, it’s a relatively short book. I am hopeful. 😁 🤞 🥂

I was apprehensive because I am not a big fan of Jase, manwhore and insensitive to Bailey, but this is good so far. Hopeful 🤞🤞🤞

This is good! Great pace, lots of heart feels…angst, heartbreak, anger, longing and love. I was curious about Erica’s story when it was first brought up in the previous book, but the truth of her story is full on heartbreak and sacrifice. I LOVE her character. Riley, ugh, I’m torn between sympathy for his plight and thinking he’s a chad. 🤷‍♀️

I love this! The characters are so real, DD does such a great job drawing me in to the story. I want happy endings for all of the good ones! There’s a lot of angst in this book early on. It’s making me feel so many emotions…😢🥰😂🔥

Gonna rant real quick…this book cover is all WRONG. The author clearly describes her as having long, COPPER colored CURLY hair, that falls halfway down her back, while this model has very straight, dark, shoulder length hair. It drives me crazy! Don’t judge a nook by its cover, yes, I know. But why do authors allow their books to be covered by completely wrong people????

“Looks like it,” I mutter. “Has he done that knot thing?” Ivy asks. “Did he make a neck clit on you?” My face flames.
“Yeah, Ives, he did,” I admit, making sure I do not make eye contact with the ‘werewolf’ that did that to me.

The author gives a little heads up at the beginning of this book that chapters 1-4 are basically a repeat of what happened early in book 1, but this time it’s from Mason’s pov. She says you could just start at chapter 5, but she doesn’t recommend it. I’m on chapter 2, it’s actually pretty good, interesting and imo necessary.

‘What she says.’ Edored threw me a look of hostile agreement. ‘Gods know she needs the bloody training – don’t you, Emelin?’ ‘Desperately,’ I said, scowling at him. ‘Especially when I can train with some fucker who won’t be missed if I happen to make a little more progress than expected.’

Her parents just left her behind, didn’t even wake her to get clear of the burning building and she still wants to know that they’re ok, even as she’s being abducted. 😢
