Why do I do this to myself??

on hold for a few days cuz minecraft :)

(i wanted to complete the book before new year but, well, i can't focus because all i wanna do is minecraft. so, i'll be taking a much needed gaming break...)

Too many bad reviews, I am scared to begin reading this book. But yk what, I am reading this🤷🏻
I might hate it, I might not.
IDK! I have already decided to read it so I won't be backing away now.

I have loved the book so far. I knew this was different than the other books I read and yet, decided to read it. But, I was too confused and curious. I read a review of the second book and got to know how it ended. I can't continue reading this. I fell in love with this book far too soon, and now my heart hurts.
Maybe someday when I am strong enough I will read this again. I can't rn. I love Shay too much.

the last half of the book has gotten ugly, really ugly...

Just got done with the 14th chapter and I hate it. Why does it have to be like that? 😭
I loved how everything was going but rn it is too sad!
I am so anxious of what's gonna happen next. I am soo freaking depressed rn, I feel like I'm gonna break down and cry my heart out.

This so sad. SO FUCKING SAD!!!

This is my second try with this book. I started reading this book two months ago and I abandoned it after reading it halfway.

I just did not like it, plain and simple. The thing is, I do wanna like it, desperately. This book is famous, the booktokers I like, all loved this book. And I want to, too.

So, here I am again. I will read it, IDC if I like it. But I will go through with it!! *huffs with determination*

25% in and I will probably DNF. this has been sitting on my currently-reading list for a while and I don't really wanna continue. started reading this on 13th of October and since have read a good number of books. this one isn't interesting enough for me to continue.

If this has anything but a HEA this gets a 1-star!

Just got done with the 18th chapter and boy, oh boy! Our plain ol' guy Charlie here, ain't playing no games Sheeeeesh!!!

53% in and so far, I am not really loving it. I am contemplating DNF.
This book is just not the one for me, I am enjoying it much neither do I like the characters.

Someone recommended this book to me for a DR, they said they found the book to be so disturbing that they had to DNF. That got me interested and I thought of checking the book out. But now 53% in, I realized this is not the kind of DR I was looking for.

I don't know how to feel about the book yet but I can't seem to like the FMC. The thing is I can't relate to her, she keeps doing things that make her an utterly disgusting person.

90% in!

Around 50% I was contemplating if I would rate it 4-stars or just 3-stars. I was leaning towards the latter more.

But the story picked up a great deal around 70% or so, and I swear if this has a HEA, I swear to the lord, I would give a rating of 5-stars.

I have loved the last few chapters i read and if this ends up with anything but a HEA, I would give this book a 1-star review and never look back!!!

Four chapters in, kinda find it frustrating. I want the h to fight back, have some dignity. Because so long, she has been acting like the wanton H thinks she is.
Woman! That man has been treating you like a harlot, a vessel to satiate his urges. Ik she is affected by him but she seriously lacks self-control. I want her to not just act haughty but show him she is more than what he thinks. It is hard to relate to her.
