This book is definitely surpassing my expectations. So far, the chapters on idols and Prodigal Son have already made a huge impact on me.

The book is distilling down Tim Keller's 50-year worth of sermons, books, articles, etc.

I'm having to pause to digest and apply what I'm learning.

"Jesus arrived in a patriarchal culture. But patriarchy was not the Bible's original blueprint"

I'm really into this book.

It's correcting and giving insight and validating.

I'm listening on hoopla but also choosing to buy it for reference and to underline and better inject what I'm learning.

2025 is the year I'm reading the whole Bible. I'm sure there are parts I've missed before.

So far, we've made it to Exodus.

I have so many questions. Joseph's story is still my fav. The culture treats women like trash in the OT. But God speaks to (!) and values women and the marginalized. Tim Keller sermons and Bible Project videos are helping me understand.

Well, I read and / or skimmed the entire book this evening. I'm quite excited about how this can be adapted to fit into my life even with a full-time job and kids' schedules.

I need to invest in a few pieces of equipment. And figure a few logistics.

So I'll leave this at 50% until I bake at least my first loaf. Lol.

This is the new title for the Jesus Storybook Bible. Though I've read it to my kids when they were younger, I'm listening in my car as I commute. It hits different. I'm enjoying it.

This is probably one of the most influential books on my life. I've come back to it a handful of times. This time, I'm listening, and it's speaking to me again.

So far, this book really delivers. Every chapter included real practical advice. I'm learning so much. And I'm listening to it from the library (hoopla for my local folks) and I just ordered a hard copy because I know I need to physically underline and digest this book mote than my auditory capabilities allow.

Highly recommend, already. Actually, I felt that was like 3 chapters in.

Still obsessed. I've been listening for 21 days and lol, I got 50% through. The Libby app told me I picked it up 29x. Now to wait in the hold queue again for my turn. High recommend still.

Riveting. 17 hours into the audiobook and I'm still glued to it. The personal stories + historical context + description of all the art... so so good.
