Drudgery. Halfway though and it’s just not intriguing. I’ve never done this before but I think I’m going to skip ahead and read the last few chapters, where I hear the slow build-up becomes fast paced and shocking. I’ll report back…

Flat.

I’m giving up at 63%. I’m not enjoying the Egypt storyline, too much detail has me wanting to just skim through. The home storyline was more interesting but not completing enough to finish. I feel bad about it, but quitting.

I was hesitant to read, but I tried and could t get into the story. Stopped at 20%.

Found on New shelf at library on a day off from work. Easy to jump right in, chapters reflect each member of the restaurant staff.

Audiobook returned early, start again at Book III
