I'm not sure where this is going... The author keeps introducing characters and then killing most of them off!

Partway through chapter 7 about the Freedom Rides. If you can make it through this chapter without wanting to weep or vomit, or both, I don't think I want to know you.

Can I just stop everything I'm doing and read this whole thing? It won't take me long. At least, until I have to start all over again to savor it even more.

This book only has 1 edition. It seriously needs to be updated, because in the last 15+ years since it was written, there are less and less adults in our world.

I need some saccharine sweet story right now, and this should fit the bill. Plus, I always wanted to have a therapy dog.

Hmm, Harry has been less whiny than I remember. There's also been a lot of other things that are not as I remember them. Hence my reread.

Ohhh, whiny Harry in full force. I know there's an awesome plot in here somewhere, I just have to wade through the angst. Focus on the plot, the plot!

This is such a cute book!

I have to admit, I'm not loving this book like I thought I would. It's good, it reads quick, but it's not sucking me in like I had hoped.

OK, I give up! I returned it to the library today.

I just can't get into this book! I'll keep it around, but I don't know how quickly I'll finish it.

I don't like reading books where you know more than the main character at the start. I'm waiting for Lucy to figure out that she's pregnant and that she's got to complete 3 impossible tasks.
