I feel like I’m reading 1984. It’s so eye opening. There was a tv show on Netflix in 2025 where there was a “cult” style facility where the kids would stand and accuse each other - this seemed ludicrous in the tv show but I guess this is a real life thing in North Korea (based on the novel)

This book. It’s fine.

I was bored. Then it picked up. Now it’s like hokey again. I’m intrigued by how this will end.

Finally this book is picking up.
