Geordon VanTassle is on page 33 of 224 of Ogam: The Celtic Oracle of the Trees: Understanding, Casting, and Interpreting the Ancient Druidic Alphabet
I got this on the recommendation of some members of OBOD after asking if it was any good. The comments were very positive.

I was pleasantly surprised with the fact that the author makes many references to historical texts as source material to draw from.

The author requested that I read this in advance of release, based on my review of one of his other works, and I am happy to oblige.

So far, I am in the first volume of the trilogy (chapter 43.. Most chapters are fairly short) and the story is interesting enough to hold my attention, but there are some minor points of confusion, like "What is 'The Circuit' that the society is part of?"

All in all, an enjoyable read. The reveal of the main antagonist was almost an afterthought, though, and could have been done better. The relationships in the book were multi-dimensional, which I liked. There were a few issues with pacing, but they were small. Overall, an enjoyable novel

Neither a quick nor an easy read. There is a lot here, and it takes more than a little time to process it through.

That being said, I enjoyed this quite well, and would love to explore the "after" world some. Multiple universes, science-monks, post-apocalypse? All good stuff!

Speaking of the "infinite" amount of money in the secular world: "...most of it gets spent on pornography, sugar water, and bombs."

Well written examination of what goes into the violent offender and how YOU can avoid becoming a target... If you pay attention.

Lispeth is an intriguing character. I'd like to see more development into her, but there is a great deal of dove-tailing between character sets in the book. They are just now coming together, and it will be interesting to see who gets to the end first: Lispeth of Blomkvist.

Interesting development of the story, but it cuts back and forth between different sets of characters which can be confusing.

Lots of interesting sounding recipes here. In fact, I will be trying some of them very soon. Pickled eggs sound rather good!
