This book is written by a former colleague of mine so of course I had to support the publication of her first book. The subject matter is difficult for me bc the swinger lifestyle is not one I’ve had any curiosity about, especially as told by someone I know. What I can relate to is the parts about growing up in figure skating and how perfectionism, body dysmorphia, and approval seeking follow her into adulthood.

A former colleague of mine wrote this book. The swinger lifestyle is not something I’m interested in so that part is difficult for me to read, especially since it’s a memoir written by a former co-worker. What I do find incredibly relatable is what she shared about growing up in the figure skating world and how that perfectionism and approval seeking, body dysmorphia, etc follow her in life after skating.

Another enjoyable story. Just what I need these days- light, fluffy, and hopeful.
