With every passing chapter I am further convinced that the folks producing the new movie have not read this book lol

Every single person in this novel is insane except for poor Miss Nelly. Though I do applaud the constant plot momentum unlike her sister’s novel.

The author has introduced a kitten. I’ve only had it for a few pages but if anything happens to it - I WILL write extremely angry letters to the author. And cry.

Even if this ends up being as corny or trope ridden as all the others, the author can at least write well. So we’re a step up above a lot of the others!

God I forgot how good this book is 🤌🏼

I can only imagine Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr as Watson and Holmes as I read this. Not necessarily a bad thing tbh
