Interesting start, lots of directions it could take

just starting

Good story, told in the eyes, ears, and words of a 7yo in rural Arkansas during the Korean War, when the family occupation was cotton picking. And oh the drama that a small town has.

This is a great story so far. I didn't think you could weave a couple of suspense plots into this but Grisham has.

Interesting story developing here. Its written in past and present tense with recollections of earlier meetings. Not too hard to follow, but it is gripping.

It was a good read, I don't know if I would have liked a movie version of this book, rather violent. However, it didn't come across so bad in book form. Quite the mystery and the look into the high tech take down was fascinating.

It was a good read. I don't remember seeing the movie, but I still have Tom Cruise images as i read it. Quite an intriguing tale, rookie lawyer outsmarts mob and FBI.

Interesting start to the book, guy gets hired on what sounds like too good be true job, introduction of a seedy under belly of the firm, murder, and i'm up to chapter 5. I don't remember seeing the movie but reading that Tom Cruise played the lead role, its hard not to picture him as you read.

I am really enjoying this book. The writing is great, the story is building.

Lots of action in every chapter of this book. Lots of twists and turns, and different groups all working against and with each other all at the same time. Hard to put this one down.
