dropping this at chapter 15. nothing is grabbing my attention and i have no motivation to continue. sorry to my book club.

i keep falling asleep to this audiobook and forgetting where i left off but i've lost interest anyway

maybe it's just me but i'm confused. know the histories of an object's constituent parts but also view it as a whole. you need to know a lot about the person whose soul you're forging except most of their personality. soulstamps should be made of soulstone but can be made of any material. they can also be removed easily by anyone. really, they aren't even required. and anyone can learn to forge! nights! 🙄

thank god that's over. having a great time ripping this to shreds with my book club though!

i just can't do this. i skipped ahead some to see if it got less difficult to read but it didn't.

i guess i'm not going to finish this. for some reason, graphic novels are kind of a chore for me to read. this was interesting but it had gotten pretty repetitive.

i'm not sure i understand the ending. i need to think about it more. nevertheless, this was pretty so-so for me.

i kind of want to keep reading just for the autism of it all but i'm not feeling this

this audiobook narrator is terrible lol. also getting vibes that this book will just annoy me if i keep reading.

the last 15% of this book so fucking weird. and teagan doesn't drop the recovering alcoholic act until 91% in???

why am i still listening to this

that was possibly the most dispassionate (???) sex scene i've ever read. the negative reviews were right, this fmc is jarringly immature. this scene had so much potential for her to be understanding and care for him while he's vulnerable and god, the intimacy. instead, we got this. grow up.

this audiobook is only 4.5 hours and i forgot i was listening to it
