I abandoned this book when I realized that the book’s orthodoxy is regarded by many mainstream scholars as questionable, the nihil obstat notwithstanding.

I’ve abandoned this, at least for the time being. It is obviously written by and for those Catholics who describe themselves as “Traditionalist” Catholics, whose theology and doctrine seems at odds with (post-Vatican (II)) Catholicism.
