Yikes

Wow the second story was crazy. And to believe this happens in real life, THAT is what makes it scary!

So far so good! Love the choice of words in the first story. Towards the end it got weird but in a good way. I look forward to reading the rest of the stories.

It's kind of hitting a part where I'm a little bored. Hopefully it gets better again

I was really enjoying the first two chapters and then I got to the chapter with the store and now I feel blah. I'll keep reading though because I'm curious what the story has in store for me.

I am really enjoying this book so far! It was so hard to put down and the only reason I did is because my eyes started becoming too focused on the words and I needed a break from reading. I look forward to getting can into it soon.

So far so good. I hope to sleep like a caveman at the end of the book

So far I'm not entirely sure why so many people dislike the book. I still have a long way to go but so far it's not bad.

This book sucked me in and it's hard to put down

After reading the chapter about prostitution I felt so sad for the women and children and all of their families for having to go through that. I can completely understand why even to this day the people of Naples do not want to talk about what happened during that time.

Soldiers can be pigs, but I have never been to war myself so I can't entirely speak to what I would be capable of.

Wow. This last section that I read makes me really appreciate what I have, especially basic necessities. So much tragedy happened in the war.
