blustery and boston centered, but entertaining as hell, and full of lots of great facts.

One of the best stories I've ever read. Chris Ware is a fantastic storyteller.

A nice tale and a pleasing adventure so far. Some insights about over-reliance on technology. And a pretty true depiction of a 12 year-old both yearning for and resisting parental involvement. Thus far I'd say it's recommendable to 4th-6th graders.

At this point, I just don't care about the story, the characters or what happens. I'll muddle through though.

I'm excited by this book. I think using it will help me to deepen the culture of learning as exploration in my classroom. I can't wait to read more about the thinking routines, finding out how to get more out of the ones I already use, adding to my toolkit and fostering the use of thinking routines more independently in my classroom.

Just started. Figure it's good summer reading for this teacher. I always want to improve the way I understand my students' and how I help students understand the value of understanding their own thinking.
