the transition between chapters is really bad. usually new chapters = new scene, but the chapters are so short, usually between 4-6 pages on average, and the next chapter will be a direct continuation of the previous scene. there’s no reason for some of these chapter breaks. it’s giving short attention span, or catering to short attention spans lmao.

the writing style isn’t bad. could be worse. at least tis not giving wattpad. it’s not overly introspective in endless thought spirals, so that’s good, but it does have that typical romantasy feel to it. it’s better written than most post-covids authors’ works tho lol but the bar is pretty low. no personalities tho. characters are boring so far. banter is annoying and forced.
