I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I read the first page. I have never picked up such a joyous, engaging, non-pedantic, and easy Greek mythology read. Just can't put it down. I am Circe. I feel for her. I feel what she feels. Yet, I can see through the people's raw emotions, motivations and intentions around her. Such thoughtful construction of sentences. What is this sorcery!

A lot to take in here. Tasks at every page to delve deeper into Adviatiya concepts or Bhakti movement. At every point, I am called to select and assemble parts for creating my personal version of Hinduness. This can also be emotionally taxing as I am made to revisit the reasons of shunning my religious identity due to my country's political trajectory and to make my peace with that label if not re-accept it.
