Did anyone else who read this feel like there was just too much background information for the fifth book in the series, but then it would skip ahead and sort of make us guess which part it jumped ahead to?

Too much info we already knew - not enough simple explanations that are needed to make the book run smooth.

Also, so far this is a one-star book, it's so poorly done; just like Heart. *sigh*

Why is Oz the cutest, sassiest little thing ever? I love him already.

I’m eating my words.... I tired switching to Campy and started regretting not pushing through Heart. So I started back at it, and it’s gotten better, I have to say. Not amazing, but not as bad as I originally thought.

Uuuuh, were the other books this poorly written and I just forgot?
I really liked Tank, so I'm a little confused about what I'm not liking about this book. Especially because MMM is a favorite of mine.
I think it's the writing... it's just off.

I'm sticking it out until the end though, so here's to hoping I like it better (or get used to the writing) the more I read.

Ah, amnesia troupe on top of being super angsty.... why do I let Garrett Leigh do this to me. (Btw, in love with this couple which makes it hurt worse.)

The smut is awfuuul. Dear gosh. Ever sentence is about ‘the heat’ and I’ve never met two men that touch each other’s balls more.
I think I find the mystery interesting??? But I don’t know???? I guess it’s decent enough that I haven’t DNFd it. But tbh, I won’t be reading the other ones.

I'm so pleased so far! Extremely well written, the mystery has me on edge without triggering my anxiety (finally!)
Just got finished with the first sex scene, it was almost too well written? it wasn't dirty enough.
Wanted to see if that would be the case throughout so I skimmed to find out, end up spoiling the main mystery because I couldn't help myself... should I even bother now or just move on to the next book?

This book is definitely slow burn to the max... Or if it wasn't intended to be that way, it sure feels that way. I'm bored, at least, that's for sure.
But it's well written enough that I can't just put it down.

I should absolutely have finished this book tonight, based on my reading speed and the length of this book.... yeah not happening. It better be done by tomorrow night.

I like Connor and I like Ivy (enough, I guess. It’s been a while since I read some of the other books, I forget who my favorites were.) but after just being 62 pages in I can already tell you everything that’s going to happen in the rest of the book. Like, I’m pretty sure I can guess ALL of the major plot lines, even the sex. I may have to skip this book, it’s boring.

Uuuugh, this is my third book today that I am just hating. I can't get into anyone's writing style. The book, so far seems very juvenile. Also like we're missing the beginning of the story. Gonna try and push through and see if it gets better at the time jump, so far no good...

Can I just say the dirty talk made me uncomfortable... the specific words she used. shudders I don’t know that I can read any more of her sex scenes... not for me in the slightest. Might have to put down the book. I’ll give the book one more chance.

I’m enjoying this story. And just as Lucy has made Eva mention over and over Donovan is literally perfect (aside from his name).
It’s taking me a lot longer than normal to finish. I’m stopping again to read another novella. I don’t know why I can’t read straight through. Especially cause I like it.

I love the book... I honestly LOVE everything Ella Frank does, for the most part. I’ve felt like like this for a little bit, but ... I’m missing something with Ace and Dylan. I don’t genuinely feel their connection, which is weird to me. I’ve always felt it, Logan and Tate, Robbie Priest and Julien, every step of the way. There wasn’t much of a build up to them, at all. They just kind of were together.
