Doesn't she know that Carolyn and Ned divorced, or am I misremembering that detail? Also Ned seems to be a creep - why would she agree to work for him? Again, maybe I'm misremembering details ...

I am intrigued about what he did and how they ended up married (& kidnapped)....

Man, I'm finding this guy just a bit too pretentious - which, I know, I know - it's just because I'm not 'listening' to his ideas, BUT honestly - I'm pretty sure he's just pretentious and I don't like him.

His ideas are nothing new, and I feel like he could just describe or suggest meditation for everyone. Not sure if I'm going to try to finish this or just stop here.

Honestly, I'm really struggling with this book. I'm not sure if I'm just over the series or if I'm in one of my reading slumps where nothing is grabbing me. I think I might put this one aside for a while, and try again at a later date.

WHY IS IT ALWAYS THIS WAY!!!???? I am so over the cliche 'with a little makeup she'd be gorgeous' or beautiful, or any other demeaning descriptions. Why can't people be beautiful, gorgeous, etc. without makeup or designer clothes or any of the other numerous things that books, society, TV shows, etc. say we need?? This makes me so mad!!!
