going to take a pause because this has been incredibly boring and the fmc annoys me deeply 😅 might be my first DNF of the year

having a super hard time with this fmc. also don’t think i really enjoy reading about billionaires or any rich people in this economy lol

i am SO tired of the same tropes in everything 😭 the same fmcs in different fonts, everything i pick up is just so lust focused that i never feel the love 😭 … thank god for new MZ tomorrow

getting back into reading after months of a book slump and only watching the most romantic and well written kdramas is harder than i expected

There is so much telling instead of showing in this book that it’s driving me insane.

This is dragging so bad idk if i’m even going to finish. Why is there smut every few pages after all these terrible things have happened. How are these fmcs always ready for it no matter what they’re feeling emotionally.

finally home after an 11 day trip and can read again 🥹 i miss LA and Taylor Swift so i need to dive into something wonderful and my tbr got longer and longer this past week!!

I’m on chapter 54 (i have all books in one on my kindle) but why does it seem like Chaol and Yrene get all the sweet moments 🤡 like everyone else is going through it but here they are, in the war but so in love it makes up for it ugh

I’m more than halfway through this now and Chaol still has such little faith in Aelin and I hate him for it. His love story with Yrene is getting on my nerves

I like Yrene but Nesryn is my fav and she deserves the world bc Chaol didn’t treat her well enough!!!

Thank god for the tandem read bc if i had to read this just by itself I’d cry

There’s nothing i hate more than when the MMC has had a great love before meeting the fmc lol I’m too jealous

Really enjoying this book so far, but what kind of person just lets their cheating husband who they had been in a relationship with for 10 years, since the age of 16, keep the house she put $150,000 for and helped construct? Lol like am i a bad person bc this could not be me 🤪

It has been a month and i haven’t picked this back up but i am determined to lol (when the mood hits).

The writing is so strong but the H is such a manwhore that it’s turning me off. The fmc is starting to get a little too desperate too.

It took me two months to read book 2 bc i paused for so long and i have gotten to 54% on this one in like 24 hours but also i need it to end bc it’s getting SO repetitive.

Note to everyone - read Bittersweet by this author first to understand half of what is going on. I haven’t but apparently it’d make a lot of endless references make so much more sense than they currently do.

fmc is very much ~*not like other girls*~ so no thanks, DNF

why do people read reverse harem if they have an aversion to it… and then leave a bad review? just say you’re boring 🤷🏻‍♀️
