Best chapter so far.

Damn, this is so sad.

So far it’s ticking off a whole checklist of hardcore gay erotica tropes (non-con, D/s, public sex, sharing, etc.), and somehow still manages to make all of it feel completely unsexy.

So far this feels like the best one in the series. We finally get some challenges that are rooted in real socio-political tension instead of yet another tangle of personal grudges.

Didn’t expect this to have more big words than your average lit-fic.

Oh my, all the male characters in this book treat the women they claim to love horribly.

People are complaining about the lack of plot in their reviews, but I can live with that as long as Brady gets to fuck Cameron. (Please let that not be the reason I dropped this series last time.)

The way good-looking boys always get preyed on by older men in Baldwin’s books just feels so slash fiction. (I know it’s supposed to tie into racism and power dynamics, but still…)
