Part 1 done. Let's see how Part 2 shapes up

Still trying to remember all names from book 1 but I'm starting to settle into the 3 POV changes. It is frustrating when it seems like we're about to get into a good flow and then yanked into a different POV. I guess that's how tension is maintained so far. Really starting to pick up, very excited!

Not as exciting as book 1 to this point, but I think things are about to get going

I really like this book, so far the best of the re-read/listen in anticipation of Twelve Months.

ah yes, Reacher kicking some butt. I've read this and other Jack Reacher novels in the past but I don't know that I recognized Reacher as what I'd call a modified unreliable narrator. Let's see if that sort of starts coming in loud and clear the rest of the way.

What could possibly take 43% longer. Seems like we're all figured out. Must be a twist coming!

After most recently reading the later set of books, it's amazing how fast this listen is moving. Also, its fun trying to pick out things that perhaps Butcher laid down this early for later.

I've read before, but wanted a nice change of pace audiobook and the library had a copy.

Going well, the dialogue takes some getting used to. My issue will be that I might need to return it to the library and check it out again to finish. Some very interesting worldbuilding though, at least for me.

Kira can just be so dumb sometimes, it's frustrating to read sometimes. Maybe that's just how Wells wrote her. I do wish we got a POV from Sam. Almost done, let's hope it ends solidly. Currently just a solid 3 star, not good or bad, just solid. Might be better for a younger audience.
