Kira can just be so dumb sometimes, it's frustrating to read sometimes. Maybe that's just how Wells wrote her. I do wish we got a POV from Sam. Almost done, let's hope it ends solidly. Currently just a solid 3 star, not good or bad, just solid. Might be better for a younger audience.

Where are we going with this story? I have an idea but what's the outcome? Also a 20 year time skip? I'll need to reread to make sure but dang, just tossing that in there.

Well, the thing happened. Prediction: this will be another sad book.

I feel like there might be some plot holes here if my theories are anywhere close to things. It's enjoyable as just a break from epic scifi/fantasy, but even listening to audio, I'm not emotionally invested, except just getting annoyed with the main character. Then again, she's only 16 so maybe I'm supposed to be annoyed.

Seemingly pretty straightforward story. Does Drizzt somehow turn against his people? I guess I'll find out in the next 120 pages!
