Rudolph is such a jackass. I wonder if Butcher is writing a particular archetype of a cop or based on some personal interaction. Either way, HUGE jackass at this point.

Audio reread!

Ha! Big battle done and now one of the best falling actions in the whole series

I love this book. So much has happened in the first half. A few allusions in this book and Small Favor for things happening in the series now. Even though I read Twelve Months already, still powering through the re-listen on audio.

I feel like, similar to Licanius, there's just going to be a lot of moving parts to this story and I'll really need my wits about me to keep it all straight.

Holy cow! All the things!

Very different kind of book for the series, but very good. Close to half way and I'm not even sure which, if any, plot threads will end up wrapped by the end.

Loving it so far. Forgot how much Harry was beaten down in Battle Ground and really all the books before it as well.

Interesting twist in sentencing. I smell a reunion or two coming.

Part 1 done. Let's see how Part 2 shapes up

Still trying to remember all names from book 1 but I'm starting to settle into the 3 POV changes. It is frustrating when it seems like we're about to get into a good flow and then yanked into a different POV. I guess that's how tension is maintained so far. Really starting to pick up, very excited!

Not as exciting as book 1 to this point, but I think things are about to get going

I really like this book, so far the best of the re-read/listen in anticipation of Twelve Months.
