I love love love this woman

Just the most beautiful, transporting prose. I underlined 10+ lines already that I can’t get out of my head. Unlike anything I have read in a while. Torn between wanting to power through this whole thing instantly & wanting to savor every single word

Just the most beautifully effortless writing. Instantly transports you into Kya’s world. Forgot how wonderful this book is

This is her best book

This is not good at all & I will be finishing it only because i am sick and it allows me to read without critical thinking

ended two chapters in a row with beautiful tributes to people who have passed away… I am unwell

She is a beautiful story teller

Unfortunately this book has really lost my interest at this point. I do not have that much interest in what is left to happen. I really enjoy his writing, especially in the first third, and will still pick up another book by him because of this. But I would be surprised if this ends up more than 2 stars at this point.

Well crying already. Think this will be my favorite book of hers. I love the way she writes characters so very much.

Some interesting tidbits of information but not my favorite. A lot of information I’ve previously encountered or feels obvious. Writing is clear but does not draw me in

So far I definitely enjoy her writing better in Everything I Know About Love

I can’t believe this was written 60 years ago & I can’t believe I haven’t read it until now
