This book is boring so far. I’ll give it another couple chapters to see if it picks up.

There has to be a redeeming quality to this book! It’s a Reader’s Choice Winner and the most read book of the year. Knowing the author writes books that are as sad as humanly possible is also making it as predictable as humanly possible. I just ask myself “What could be the worse thing that happens here ” and sure enough, it does. Gonna try and slog through.

Wish I had a dollar for every time she uses the word “incredulously”. 😂

Listening to the audiobook. Not enjoying the narrator. She sounds like she’s reading (haha), overly enunciating. I prefer narrators that sound more natural. We’ll see if I can tolerate it or if I’ll need to do the reading myself.

This book is silly ridiculous nonsense. Enjoying it so far. 😀

Currently at a 3. I’m interested enough in the story to keep going. It’s a little too predictable though. Zora’s constant “they could never like someone like me” is overdone. Now it’s just annoying.
