I’ll write a review for the two-part The Orient Express here collected in 1889 & 1890

The people publishing these comics always write a decent foreword about the original comic’s origins in time and who they commissioned for the cover art, I absolutely adore these and 1890 is a double spread too!

Surprisingly, I really enjoy The Phantom, it’s a little old timey but thrilling to follow along with.

Imagine a gust of hot air swept into Springfield and during that lockdown inexplicably a political circus rolled into town. That’s the episode. It’s a 1996 take on election campaigns, doesn’t outright name Clinton or Dole. But the pro-crime, or pro-jail, social security, etc holds true. I should probably re-read it.

The secondary story is a kid Homer Simpson short, Home Alone meets food monster Homer.
