itll be fun to reread the aeneid after and track all the imagery references. quales apes!

circe = boring, no personality. flowery descriptions dont match up w/ pov due to circe's lack of life experience (ex. describing hands as scarred by fishscales despite cuts, scars, hard labor, etc being foreign concepts to her). first entertainment = daedalus at her island, b4 that boring. so far book has said nothing that hasnt been said many times before in middle grade girl books ab being the black sheep. yawn.
