The prose is different and charming. It's almost like poetry or hypnotic patter a bit. I might stick with this one for a bit.

His goodness is really what makes it all so sad. And funny.

Don Quixote is deeply tragic. I don't see how others read him as an "idealist confronted by mean reality" when he has started every fight that he has been in. He is a good man who is blinded by ideals so that he pays no heed to the way he impacts those around him.

The investigatory hearing was so annoying. Mitya is just a big, dumb, too honest guy and the prosecutor is so smug.

Finally back to something interesting. The Mitya parts are generally not as compelling as Alexei or Ivan; he's monomaniacal and impulsive, so there's a lot going on, but he's not doing a lot of reasoning. He's just kind of flat, necessarily flat, but still flat.
