Not enjoying this especially. A review said it was slow to start- I have a pile to choose from so moving on for now.

Lots of sleuthing- I’m in heaven. Wishing that the author had included more historical notes but found this: https://bookpage.com/behind-the-book/... . Really rounding out the details.

I seem to be in a crime/mystery/ thriller mood, and Läckberg builds tension so well.

Mysterious... many threads... my interest is captivated.

I’m charmed! Slapdash Jilly Cooper style without horses- a fractious family up to high jinks.

Okay... I’m feeling a bit irritated with a couple bits of poor representation of history. Will write about it in my review - but it hit me immediately (pg. 4) - misleading sentence about enfranchisement for women “ extending it to women over thirty”. Bah- the age was REDUCED to those owning property aged thirty and older. Good pacing otherwise...

Reading month by month... enchanting, during the bleak months of our Canadian winter AND a pandemic.

Quirky, a creative thought process musing about the history of our relationship with typography, print, design - fascinating glimpses into the minds of those who "invent". Wish I could see a copy of the handmade books!

I may not regret buying this after all! Maybe the hype is truth... enjoying it lots.

Still have to make up my mind.

Barely squeaked it in to make my Goodreads Challenge for 2017! Not much reading going on in the last six months... books, that is! Real estate listings, documents, stuff to shred, every kind of direction for new appliances or their reviews... but maybe now I'll get back to some recreation!
