I know this was written during another time, but the constant incompetence and lack of interest from the dad for anything related to house chores is getting on my NERVES.
It’s written as a funny anecdote, but I find it infuriating that Shirley, about to go into labour, is STILL making breakfast for her kids while the husband just sits idly by. Damn..

I’ve been reading a lot of books written by women this year, and boy is it a whiplash to read a book written by a man again.
Women go from complex people to “back when they were in their stroller, before they acquired breasts”

I can already tell these kids are going to be annoying as hell
