A Hotwife Spring Training
4 stars - The Warm Up, the Pitch, and The Homerun!

Andi is one lucky girl! I like how her hotwife adventures begin, & I love that Jason put thought into his plans. It was really hot how Jason, Ethan, & Carter ensured she was in the right frame of mind for everything that happened.

I love the wrap up to this quick & sizzling read. I look forward to reading more of this couple.

A Hotwife Doppelganger
4 stars - Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Who's the Hotwife for All?
This isn't my usual hotwife read, but I like the twist. Veona is a naughty, naughty girl. Well, she wants to be, but it takes an apparition of sorts to help her find her path, her passion.

The ending is different & not what I expected, but it did leave the door open for more shenanigans. And my active imagination.

A Hotwife Playa Cabana 4 stars - Brotherhood Christening
This has more chops to it than I expected. A very happy surprise.

Jonathan's pre-wedding plans for his bride & best friends are as tempting as they are hot! What started them down the path is something I'm not fond of, but the results are perfection.

I love how each man uses innocuous items in thrilling ways. Very creative!

I'm looking forward to PJ's latest book!

I started, but I couldn't let myself get into it knowing that there were another 20 books prior that I need/want to read. I'm going back to the beginning and will get to this one soon enough.

It has been a really long time since I've picked up a book in this series, as in more than a decade. I'm planning to head back to the beginning, but I'm curious to see if these can be treated as standalone books.

I'm skipping around and started here.

5 stars - Wild Riding Read: 1/29/24
Ballas Keeny and Karis Spurlock are hot together! One night isn't enough. For me or them. I look forward to seeing where this goes!

There's some angst and a really good setup for the rest of their story in Offside.

Ugh! I'm crossing my fingers that Ivy finds her backbone. I don't mind college bully romances, but females that are walked all over? Or rather, allow others to walk all over her? Not a fan of those.

Embrace -Del's Story
4 stars - The Last Stop
Del's final bk in this series does what I've been wanting, moves the story forward w little overlap to the two earlier books in the trilogy, & we get an HEA. It's also a bit of an emotional ride, but I'm here for it.

Iliya & Kenna play big roles & seeing things transition is very interesting. I really like the way this ended. It's true to each character.

Embrace - Iliya's Story
4 stars - When the Cat's Away

The focus is on Iliya. *rubs hands together* When Del, the proverbial cat, is away, this mouse really does play. There's no denying that her playtime is varied and so crazy hot, but I also like that the conversations are mostly honest and thought provoking.

It's an interesting read, and I'm looking forward to what this means for Kenna.

Embrace
5 stars - Kenna Gets Her Groove

I love everything about Kenna's journey in this installment. The reflection, the adventure & realizations, the determination, & the bonding with an unlikely person. It isn't all pretty, but I love how it comes together.

Iliya & Del don't have as much of a physical presence, but that's OK. I really hope all find their version of an HEA. That's still TBD.

Caress - Iliya's Story
4 stars - Digging Deeper
I read this, but after the mic drop moment at the end of Kenna's POV, I rushed thru some scenes. I really need the story to progress.

I do like the interesting tidbits about not only the 3 primary characters but several family members & acquaintances that come to light throughout. And despite my unfavorable opinions of Iliya, I really do like the story.

4 stars - Mixed Signals
For as hot as things get between Iliya & Kenna, the more time we spend with Iliya, the less I like her. I'm hoping that Del will leave her & start a quiet, yet happy & fulfilling life w Kenna or anyone else.

I do love how Kenna stands up for herself w her sister & does the right thing when it comes to communication w Del & Iliya, even if that doesn't always end well.

His Little Bird
4 stars - Soulwink Truth

Honey & Owen have an unconventional spin to their story. I won't give it away, but it shifts to a new angle for future stories as the truth of the soulwink is revealed.

I enjoyed this more than I expected, for which I'm happy about. I like the way their story worked out for them. There's good chemistry & believability even when it steps off the beaten path.

His Starlight
3 stars - It's Just One of Those Things

I just really wasn't feeling this one. It's got some cute parts and some steamy good times, but I didn't connect with Jolie or Jack Dole. 🤷

His Silver Lining
3.5 stars - Wanderlust Grounded

This was a sweet-with-heat novella that I did like, but I wasn't as invested in it as I have been other books from Whisper Valley. Their chemistry didn't sparkle. The flirting felt very mellow & more like an old married couple, even though Dottie was confused by it. Was it realistic? Sure, but just not what I expected.

His Sunshine
4 stars - Magical Candles

There's magic in them there candles. This is a really sweet with heat novella. Oh, the insta-love is strong and a tad over-the-top, but it's a fun and cute story. Ava and Duke's first encounter really sets the stage.

I enjoyed this and look forward to more from the Whisper Valley Soulwink Society.

Sugar and the Skeptic
4 stars - Missed Driveway, Made Connection

There's so much to enjoy about this book! The recognition of what's going on between Clementine & Rafe, their first date, the pace they set despite their overwhelming feelings, etc.

I love the childhood friendship with Serenity & how strong their bond remains. I always love when the a woman has at least 1 amazing ride-or-die friend.

Sweetheart and the Grouch
4 stars - Righting the Turtle

I love their first meeting with Ainsley in the middle of the road flailing like a turtle on its back. It makes for a memorable encounter!

There's heartache, denial, & an over-the-top attraction that kept me interested. I like how Ajax tries to ignore his connection w Ainsley. The inclusion of Elena adds mischief & brightness to the story.

Serenity & the Hermit
4.5 stars - Growly Is Good

Teasing, tantalizing, and entertaining! Nelson Valentine may be a growly recluse but he's all heart once he realizes Fanny "Serenity" Longbottom means no harm. And she quickly warms to him.

It's OTT but in a fun way. They also cause warmth to radiate... everywhere. I love how Nelson rallied his family in a time of need & how selfless he is.

Sunshine & the Recluse
4.5 stars - Sunshine for the Great Big Grizzly Bear

Dylan takes the prize for Most Cantankerous. LOL! Thankfully for him, he's stumbled upon Millie. She's in need of dire assistance with her fixer upper & he's the perfect-ish volunteer.

I smiled & chuckled often while enjoying their story - even w the occasional dramatics or refused acknowledgements from the pair.

Cute as a Lemon Drop

Otis Valentine and Yvette Laurent are cute... once he stops scaring her with his growling.

This kiss can be felt throughout my entire body and deep inside my spirit too.

I enjoyed the quick read novelette. It's sweet, a bit over-the-top but not too much, and has a nice steamy bite.

Dark & Stormy Darlin’
4 stars - Bluey and Prancer
Samantha is about as innocent as it gets. Life threw her some lemons early on. It took more than a decade, but she's finally decided to put herself out there and try to make lemonade. I liked this book. With the aid of their dogs, her story with Remy Valentine is completely insta-over-the-top, but it has some very cute moments & some delightful heat to help.

Old Fashioned Sweetie
4 stars - Holy Water

I enjoyed this quick soulwink addition as Vaughn Valentine rapidly loses his heart to Charity. Things go from zero to sixty faster than a New York minute. It's a cute and steamy read. 😉

There are some discrepancies from book one, but nothing to ruin the experience.

This is so OTT that I'm not sure that Kellen learns Jade's last name until they're married. It's a bit funny & a whole lotta insta going on.

I really liked the simplicity of the story & the heated turn of events. I also liked the easy setup for the next novelette.

These books are standalone & can be read out of order, but in order is recommended.

A Holly for X-Mas
I forgot how insta everything this is. It's insanely over-the-top & seriously cute w off-the-charts sizzle!

“You make me crazy, Holly. One look at you and I can feel the obsession taking over. It scares me.”

On a dark, ice covered highway, Nathan Thomas & Holly Evans meet & everything changes. I enjoyed this as much the second time as I did the first.

Fallen Ranger
Rory Yates is caught in a no-win situation on 2 fronts as the past comes to visit. I really liked everything about this story. The twists, turns, broken hearts & all. It was captivating & a great story.

The narrator is Christopher Ryan Grant. It's my first time listening to him. I really enjoyed his narration. His accents are a good fit for this bk.

23 1/2 Lies
Ah, Marty Boxer. He's like a bad penny that keeps turning up. At least his death made for an interesting story.

I like how Lindsay's emotions yo-yo as she comes to terms w the latest revelations about Marty. I liked this novella length addition to the series.

The narrator is January LaVoy. She's the sole narrator & does a pretty good job with everyone.

I really enjoyed this book. It's sweet, sensual, & a good building block for what's to come.

Watching Kenna trip all over Del is humorous. She's enamored, before she remembers one very important detail. He's married to Iliya. Oopsies....

There isn't any cheating, but things between the 3 do heat up. Misunderstandings, little touches & dirty kisses have me looking forward to more!
