Ugh! I'm crossing my fingers that Ivy finds her backbone. I don't mind college bully romances, but females that are walked all over? Or rather, allow others to walk all over her? Not a fan of those.

Perhaps a critical plot point is Ivy discovering her backbone. Unfortunately, real life has people who can't help freezing up and letting people walk over them.

I know this is book 1 of a duet and book 2 is supposed to be her taking back her power kind of thing, I just hope we don't have to wait until then to see her gain some resolve.
I know that the reality is that there are plenty of people out there who are naive and/or taken advantage. I just don't like reading about that unless it's accompanied by them finding their power and stopping the cycle of abuse. *fingers crossed*
