Each time I read the name "Sasha Vesna" I laugh, because that's not how you name a Slavic character.

Also, this might be the first book that annoys me with all the character's backstories.

I'm not sure if I like or dislike this. There are waaay too many pop culture references and way too many drug names. And I've been bedrotting for the past 2 days, so this book will either help me or ruin me

It's gonna take some time. The edition that I have is from the 1970s and it's divided into three books.

I've been listening to the audiobook for almost a week now. So, it's going to take some time

It's also weird hearing this narrator pronouncing Romanian words in the wrong way. For example, a basic word mulțumesc (thanks). is not pronounced mulTumesc, it's pronounced mulTZumesc.

so far very interesting, although it's a bit weird to have someone from Lithuania write about Romania
