why are the page numbers on goodreads always so off i swear to god. maybe it's bc im reading the original, not the revised version, but my copy has ~240 pages not including like 30 pages of citations/films.

anyway its crazy to check out a book from the library thats been there for a while. ppl were reading this exact copy 32 years ago thats insane

what the fuck did i just read. i can't even give a summary... its so explicit it became comical. this is the embodiment of second hand embarrassment i wanted to crawl out of my skin..

my current audiobook. a well-written romance is hard to come by these days but this makes me smile. can't believe im reading a straight romance i actually care about...

love how her loneliness is written... she's a total bitch but it hurts to see her just lose all tethers to humanity
this would be so fun to read in like 5 years bc it's so 2019/20 it's almost like a period piece

short story collection. first is "the feminist." its about a man who so, so desperately wants to have sex while trying not to come off as a "dudebro", carrying around his feminist literature and consulting his QPOC (queer person of color) friend to make sure he's not overstepping his place as a cishet white man. he becomes an incel and joins a reddit community for narrow-shouldered men.

very terminally online book.

omg i haven't updated this in forever.. ive just been reading a few pages ever so often but im close to the climax of the book (which is near the end but whatever) and i hope i can just finish the rest tommorrow

this book is gonna be so hard to rate when im done. strange, strange story with a strange protagonist and strange plot.
shoutout to a protrayal of OCD that isn't advertised as "ocd book!!" or exploring very common obsessions/compulsions in media like cleaning. sometimes ocd makes u a weird freak and i love how much a freak the protag is. like yesss i love you cringe 40 year old white woman keep ruining ur life !!

maybe starting a new book will help me with finishing the others.. •_•
