300+ hours of work over 2 years coming to closure.

Final Edits are now 100% Complete.

I am doing the new uploads right now as I type this.

The last final 1% of this effort is to get these in a deliverable format.

I want anyone who purchased the text-based book already to receive a copy of the audio version for free with proof of purchase.

I will have to do some reflection and figure out the best way to accomplish this and also for new audio only folks.

Final edits completed on Chapters 1, 5, & 7.

Chapter 2 however, will require quite a bit of work. There was an overlap issue that is causing me to have to re-upload the entire audio file, which will take ~45 minutes to reformat and compile alone.

There's also going to be ~20 minutes or so that I will need to re-record entirely.

Aiming for next week to be 100% complete and ready to release.

I have completed the ~18 hours of this audiobook again for the third time!

Being pure of heart, I have sincerely enjoyed all three (3) listen throughs.

Everything from getting outdoors, survival skills, health and fitness, and so much more - even though it's my own story this is very positive material that is deep. Something that can be hard to find in the era of AI and ticktock brain material.

It's coming along slowly but surely!

This will be the final go-through for the Audiobook before I call this done.

So far there's about 1 hour worth of editing found I would like to do before a 1.0 release, so I am super thankful that I am doing a third listen through of my book.

I still want to make this free as well for anyone who bought the original text version.

Thinking about how to do that.

About to start Round 6.

This will be hopefully the final listen-through before I release the audiobook.

If everything went as planned, all editing should be complete at this point and this is just the final confirmation before Audiobook release.

Hoping to close this effort during this calendar month September 2023.

Some editing tasks for sure with the first 25%. I am pretty happy with everything else to the right of that for sure. Will be a fairly straight forward clean-up effort.

Reviewing myself, which is funny, my section on packing lists wasn't may favorite lol. But maybe some folks who never served it will be worthwhile.
