That Prologue was fire. I knew what was going to happen, essentially, but it was awesome anyway.

However the audiobook and the kindle version do not align. The audiobook has clearly been edited to make the language more cohesive. It doesn’t change anything as far as I can tell, just makes the language a bit cleaner. Maybe don’t use the immersive reading technique on this one. I tried and it threw off my game

This is so incredible. Starting Book 4 now. Was not a big fan of this mid section here to be honest, the stuff with Donna and Van is one of my least favorite things to find in a horror novel. However, the entire first half of this book makes up for any shortcomings and what’s coming next will I’m sure live up to the first half.
